 THESIS: Measuring Inherent Energy Efficiency for FPGAs over Sequential Processors using MCNC
Benchmarks, also studying the effects of RTL conversion into compressed CPU instructions on Power. Apart
from the theoretical work in the field, it is the first attempt to estimate power using practical MCNC circuits.
 RESEARCH PRODUCT: ANSI C programming language based simulator to estimate power consumed by FPGA
and Processor for any circuit netlist described in blif format. It can become part of compiler tool chain to
divide computation at compile time, between FPGAs and processors on SOCs, based on power consumption.

helmet. This project was completed in 2 months by the team of 2 members, from concept to prototype.

cameras within a safe area.
