This document summarizes a research article that proposes using an integer optimization technique called TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) to solve bi-polar max-Tp equation constrained multi-objective optimization problems. The article first reviews research on fuzzy relational equations and bi-polar max-Tp equation constrained optimization. It then presents the TOPSIS method for multi-objective decision making and shows how to reformulate a bi-polar max-Tp constrained multi-objective optimization problem into an integer program that can be solved using TOPSIS. Finally, it provides an illustrative example and concludes that the proposed method could have wider applications for solving similar problems.
