FUNDING SCHEMES
FUNDING SCHEMES Collaborative projects (CP) Networks of Excellence (NoE) Collaborative projects for specific cooperation actions dedicated to international cooperation partner countries (SICA) Coordination and support actions (CSA) Research for the benefit of specific groups, e.g. SMEs
COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS (CP) Objective driven research New knowledge, new technology products,  Activities: research, demonstration, training, innovation linked activities, management Small or medium scale  Large scale integrating projects 24-60 months
COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS (2) At least 3 independent legal entities, each of which established in a Member State (MS) or Associated Country (AC) and no two of which are established in the same MS or AC
COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS FOR    SPECIFIC INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION  (SICA) At least 4 independent legal entities; of these 2 must be established in different MS or AC. The other two must be established in different international cooperation partner countries >>see annex 1 of the Work Programme
COORDINATION AND SUPPORT ACTIONS (CSA) Coordination actions: Consistent set of activities focussing on coordination of research activities and policies networking, coordination and dissemination activities Support actions: normally focused on one specific activity and often one specific event e.g. conferences, workshops, working groups, studies, fact finding monitoring, dissemination activities etc. No funding of research, development or demonstration Duration: few months – 48 months
COORDINATION AND SUPPORT ACTIONS (CSA) Coordination actions: At least 3 independent legal entities, each of which is established in a MS or AC, and no two of which are establised in the same MS or AC Support actions: At least 1 independent legal entity
