Specimen processing structure and its insights
Specimen processing

 In general it starts with a set of samples and a request
  form.
 Characteristically, a set of vacutainer tubes having blood,
or any other sampling, will turn up to the laboratory in a
small plastic bag, all along with the form.
 Given a laboratory number to the forms and specimens,
the specimens, in general will receive the same number
often as a marker or label that can be positioned on tubes
  and form.
Contd..,

 In general nurses and doctors have their patients tested at
least once a day with general complete blood counts and
  chemistry profiles.
 These guidelines are then haggard during a first light run
by phlebotomists for results to be accessible in the
patient's charts for attending the physicians to discuss
  with, during their morning rounds.
All specimens, labeled in the presence of the patient; in
order to sort out the counts Label requirements include:
 Full name
 Unique identifier
 Date of birth acceptable, including the year
 Time of collection
 Initials of collector
 Cultures including sight and source.
 Results for in-house testing will be provided in 24 hours or
  less except for Microbiology.
