1. Azoospermia is a descriptive
   term of ejaculates that lack
   spermatozoa without
   implying a specific underlying
   cause.

2. Azoospermia is not synonymous of sterility.
   Treatment options are microsurgical ductal
   reconstruction (selected cases of OA) and sperm
   retrieval coupled with in vitro fertilization (ICSI).

2. The method of choice is based primarily upon

  • 10. 1. Azoospermia is a descriptive term of ejaculates that lack spermatozoa without implying a specific underlying cause. 2. Azoospermia is not synonymous of sterility. Treatment options are microsurgical ductal reconstruction (selected cases of OA) and sperm retrieval coupled with in vitro fertilization (ICSI).
