- 2. INTRODUCTION Han-Hsien Tuan works as managing partner of Tuan Olona, LLP, in New York City. Outside work, Han-Hsien Tuan is active in the Episcopal faith. He served in the past as a vestryman and chancellor for St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in New York. The church’s current home on Park Avenue is an ode to art in architecture. The actual construction is Romanesque in style, and the interior decoration is Byzantine. The church - also known as St. Bart's - houses several large mosaics, including several by Art Deco artist Hildreth Meière. The narthex of the church contains five domes created by the artist using glass and gold leaf. The church provides ample opportunity for the public to share in its artistic history. Short tours with an emphasis on St. Bartholomew’s art and architecture take place each Sunday after the 11 a.m. service. Private tours can be arranged for a small donation. Children are encouraged to learn about the church’s art through a scavenger hunt built around the 70 different animals that are depicted across the grounds.
