1) High-performing sales teams are much more likely to use sales analytics and mobile apps than underperforming teams. Analytics use is expected to increase significantly across all teams in the next year.
2) Top metrics for sales success are acquiring new customers and increasing revenue and number of new customers, rather than focusing only on margins.
3) Sales teams face challenges from increased competition and more sophisticated customer needs.
