Step-By-Step Guide to Creating Assessments

- 10. CREATING AN ASSESSMENT1 – Click on Tests Tab
- 11. 2 – Click on Create a new blank test3 – Click on Next1 – Click on Create a New Test
- 12. 1 – Enter test title2 – Select grade level3 – Click on Next
- 13. 1 – Select Level4 – Click on Next2 – Select subject3 – Select course
- 14. 1 – Click on Finish
- 15. ?Do you want 70% to be Met standard and 100% for Commended?Optional…you do not have to enter anything here.
- 17. 1. Click on Questions Tab2. Click on Search Item Bank
- 18. Click on double blue arrows
- 19. 1. Highlight SE for which you want test questions2. Click on Search Item Bank, again
- 20. Software is pulling up questions pertaining to that particular SE. Wait until Searching is complete.
- 21. Click on blue down arrow to see test item
- 22. Click on green plus sign to add test item to test
- 23. Click on X Close after adding test items to see test
- 24. Click on Alternate to change F, G, H, J to A, B, C, D.
- 25. *2. This is where your Test ID number is that must be bubbled in on your answer key.1. Click on Advanced Tab
- 26. Click on Print to: Print Test Booklet
- 27. Print Test KeyThese will open as pdf documents which you can print or save to your computer. Just remember that you need both the test (answer)keyand the Test ID number to fill out your answer key before scanning answer documents on the Lexmark printer.
- 28. Click on Share to share the test you created with a fellow teacher. The recipient will need to copy/save the test in order to modify it. The test could then be shared, again, if desired.

- 30. KILLEENISDTouch LCD Panel – literally. It will wake up once you touch it (as long as it is powered on, that is).

- 36. 1Select the periods for which answer documents are to be printed2
- 37. Just click on next if you want an answer document to print for each student in the period.The default is already to select all students in the period chosen. You may deselect all and select individual students if desired.
- 38. If you want numeric griddables, chose this one.If you do not want griddables and only want multiple choice questions, chose this one.
- 39. You can peck out a name for this test, if you wish. It is optional. This is not required. Maybe use abbreviated name for test.
- 40. The Lexmark printer will now begin printing your answer documents.
- 41. If you are finished printing answer documents, leave on ‘No’ and click on Next. You should now have an answer document for each student.
- 42. ANSWER KEYBubble in AnswersBubble in Test ID Number
- 43. STUDENT ANSWER DOCUMENTStudents bubble in ONLY their answers. They do not fill in test ID number.
- 44. KILLEENISDGo back to the Lexmark printer. Touch LCD Panel to wake up machine.
- 45. KILLEENISD Make sure answer key is on top (with answers bubbled in and Test ID number bubbled in).
- 46. All student answer documents must be facing right direction and placed behind the answer key.
- 47. Place face up in the ADF (automated document feeder…on top of the Lexmark) and click on Grade Tests.
- 48. Go to your computer and look for results in Eduphoria!
