Levels
 We use The Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages abbreviated as CEFR, as a guideline to describe
the actual levels of the students.
 The six reference levels are widely accepted as the European
standard for grading an individual's language proficiency.
 The CEFR describes what a student is supposed to be able to
do in reading, listening, speaking and writing at each level.

Level A1 - Beginner
 Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and
very basic phrases.
 Can introduce him / herself and others and can ask and answer
questions about personal details such as where he / she lives,
people he / she knows and things he / she has.
 Pronunciation rules, greet, introduce him / herself, numbers,
family, time, hours, schedules, days of the week, months of the
year, seasons, order in restaurant

Level A2 - Elementary
 Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions .
 Check into hotel, inquire about times, home and interior describe
people, ask for opinions and give their own opinion.

Level B1 - Intermediate
 Can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an
area where the language is spoken.
 Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and
ambitions.
 Can discuss the weather, use future tense, invite someone, use
the past tense, body parts, physical complaints, fruit and
vegetables

Level B2 – Upper-intermediate
 Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both
concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in
his/her field.
 Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that
makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible
without strain for either party.

Level C1 - Advanced
 Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and
recognize implicit meaning.
 Can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much
obvious searching for expressions.
 Can use language for social, academic and professional
purposes.

Level C2 - Proficiency
 Can understand virtually everything heard or read with ease.
 Can summarize information from different spoken and written
sources.

 Children’s activity classes every Saturday morning from 10am
untill 1pm
 Children from 4 to 11 years old
 By means of structured activities, exercices and games, all in
English, children learn in a fun way to express themselves.

Spanish in Playa Blanca
 Every Monday and Wednesday in Sun Park Living

Intercambio
 Every first Saturday of the month from 10.30am untill 1pm
 A great way to improve your language skills in a relaxed and
friendly environment.
 Just come along and join in the conversation, all levels welcome,
however some knowledge is necessary as these are
conversational sessions not teaching classes.
