Summary
On a daily basis I was in charge of managing the Sullen Australia Official Instagram account in
order to increase the community, grow the brand, gain more retailers, promote the website and
increase sales. Other tasks included organizing stock, help launch the website and promote it,
help brainstorm other campaign ideas, suggest new marketing tactics and contribute ideas for
developing a marketing business plan and budget.
#1 SMART
Specific – Promote the product ourselves, intended to engage, intrigue and interact with
audience. Ask questions, feature new products in shop, sales and deals, popular sellers
Measurable – Over the next 5 weeks measure if the likes and comments increase since the posts
before I took over. I would like to average over 100 likes a post and at least 5 comments average
per post.
Achievable – I’m going to do this by trying to create the posts more appealing, eye catching,
more interactive, and interesting copy.
Realistic – In creating more interactions and featuring people more I hope to gain more
followers which will help me reach my measureable goal
Timely – I have less than 5 week’s time to reach my goal, grow followers, and create more
interactions on Instagram
#2 SMART
Specific – By posting Instagram popular/good-looking girls and featuring them I hope to bring
their followers to our page and gain some of their followers. By posting good looking girls in
specifically our merchandise and giving them a promo code for orders we can hope to generate
sales
Measureable – This will be easiest measured by an increase in followers, more girls wearing
and shouting-out the brand in hopes to get featured, and being able to link an increase in sales to
promocodes
Achievable – I’m going to do this by featuring a girl almost once a day – it will intrigue all of
the followers (male and female since we discussed both genders will find it appealing) in order to
generate more followers and traffic and encourage girls to post more in Sullen gear
Realistic – I’m hoping by featuring more girls, more girls will post clothes in our gear in hopes
to get featured so it is realistic by envy and all girls wanting their ‘little claim to fame’
Timely – in less than 5 weeks’ time I hope to post at the least 35 girls in a mixture of featuring,
shouting-out, and promoting our products with codes.
#3 SMART
Specific – I would like to shout out artists in the area, and artists that we have relationships with
and capitalize on them. By featuring their work and tattoo shop, they will be more inclined to
shout us out as well which is more exposure for us. Also featuring artists (especially credible and
well recognized ones) rocking sullen product so other people will be envies of the tattoo
‘superstars’
Measurable –I’ll measure this by counting how many more followers we gain, likes and
comments on posts, and well as how many other artists and shops decide to shout us out as well.
Achievable – Im going to do this by shouting out 2-3 artists per week just create interactions,
bring traffic to the page and encourage them to shout us out as well.
Realistic – this is realistic because it’s something that has been done in the past but just not as
frequently as I would like to
Timely – again, I have less than 5 weeks to implement all of these ideas so I would like to leave
here with it being more of a routine, and the posts, and frequency will increase our numbers.
