Supporting the Community through CVC Day at University of Virginia

In preparation for his career, Caleb Kramer obtained his degree from the University of Virginia, which has been rated by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top public universities in the nation for over 14 years.
- 3. Founded by Thomas Jefferson in 1819, the University of Virginia has remained a pillar of the community for nearly two centuries. As part of its ongoing commitment to enrich the community, the university established the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) to support local charities. Connecting more than 1,300 charities in health and human services, animal welfare, conservation, and more, the CVC acts as a bridge between state employees and public interests by providing a simple way to give through one-time donations or payroll deductions. The CVC screens all charities to ensure that no more than one-quarter of proceeds go to operating costs, and all contributions remain confidential.
