Aims and Objectives To document digitally Surabaya’s heritage To educate the society and increase awareness of heritage preservation

Challenges  Wide public participation in collection development has not been achieved Some obstacles: Lack of culture for sharing resources Heritage resources often mean business (income generating, not to share them freely) Heritage resources often mean private/ personal enjoyment Strategies: Joint-exhibitions    audience positive responses help in making potential donors more inclined to contribute content/resources Build network with other heritage-based organization    helps in indentifying potential (content) donors
