PROJECT DETAILS: Accenture Services (Pvt) Ltd., Chennai Dec’10 – Feb’15 Project - Telstra– (CC&B) transformation project Domain - Telecom domain – Involving Kenan Billing system and CRM Testing type - Functional testing Designation - Senior Software Engineer About the Project / Client: Telstra is the largest Telecommunication Company in Australia which offers Mobile, Fixed Line and Internet Connections to customers. Siebel CRM and PRM 7.2 to 8.1. Applications used for creating the Orders. Kenan Data Mediation is the application used for mediating the CDR files. This is a transformation project where data is being migrated from an old (legacy) system to a strategic (CC&B) system. I have been through different assignments within the same project. Details below- Assignment I – Overall - CAT (Combined Acceptance Testing) offshore Sr.Tester Period – Feb-2011 to Jan 2012 Role – Offshore CAT execution Senior Tester Team Profile – CAT team performs the test execution for every change requests and responsible for CR delivery as per schedule. Period – Jan 2012 to 25th Feb 2015 Role – Test Architect and Planning Lead Team Profile – This team is the brain child of the project where every CR is being estimated, priced, scheduled, planned and packaged in a release. The entire process and project flow are being documented and reviewed. Roles and responsibilities: As a Test Architect and Planning Lead am responsible for: - Assess Change Request from Requirement / story gathering - Conduct test architect review for every solution definition assessments submission - Estimate (using Test point model) and price the effort for every change request - Release management – where do-ability is complete and a complete delivery view is presented to Telstra project manager / sponsor - Review test plan / RTM before it is being presented to business - Given that project is majorly running on a capped TnM model there are regular capacity planning meet for the overall project where the estimation are presented to make decisions on sizing - Change Request governance and Run agile scrum / stand up meetings - Work allocation across team for 10 members - Defect leakage and Root cause analysis - Secure cross vendor engagement - Review SD – Solution definition and assessment & DTP – Detailed Test plan Responsibilities Assessment of the different CR’s of all the releases.
