This document provides a survey of reactive routing protocols for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs), emphasizing the dynamic nature of these networks formed by mobile nodes communicating without fixed infrastructure. It categorizes routing protocols into proactive, reactive, and hybrid types, with a focus on reactive protocols like AODV and DSR that establish routes on-demand to reduce overhead. The paper discusses the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of MANETs, alongside the challenges faced by routing protocols in highly mobile and dynamically changing network topologies.
