This document summarizes the key findings of a survey on perceptions and knowledge of corruption in Mongolia. Some of the main findings include:
1) Corruption was seen as the third most important problem in the country.
2) Respondents felt that corruption in law enforcement is a major obstacle to fighting corruption.
3) Land, procurement, and mining were seen as the most corrupt sectors.
4) Expectations of fair treatment from legal institutions like law enforcement and the judiciary were low.
5) While not satisfied with anti-corruption efforts, perceptions of corruption have improved somewhat since 2006.
