The survey results showed that rock music was the most commonly listened to genre, followed by pop and metal. Most respondents either bought one magazine per month or none, spending between £2-5. Friends and online sources were the most common ways to find new music, while music magazines were among the least used. All respondents watched music videos online, mainly on YouTube, and many also downloaded music and videos from similar sources. Most wanted interesting articles, interviews, band features and pictures in a magazine. Based on this, the document proposes creating an inexpensive music magazine with featured bands, free items, new band information, and concert listings.
