- 2. Things started with VELCA team. Particularly with Mr. Chirag Shah and Mr. Hasit Trivedi who introduced me and provided opportunity to work in such a great event. When I joined connected load and DG working was about to get over and order was placed on GPPL.
- 3. Connected load was 23.2MVA while DGs order was around 56.3 MVA which was on higher side due to incapability of supplier. Our team was asked to bring it down substantially. I have worked hard with Mr. Hasit Trivedi and Mr. Dinesh Patel for different combinations and back up quotes collected from Mr. Chirag Shah. We came out with innovative solution.
- 4. From 56.3 MVA ordering of DGs reduced to 39.7 MVA. By: › Efficient DGs selection › Synchronizing schemes and › Some calculated risk Hard saving achieved of around 60 lacs INR by new option and soft saving like reliability and environment protection by less diesel consumption was more than 40 lacs INR achieved.
- 5. Things were at 11th hour and to execute such a huge power with 80 nos. of dgs ordering, transportation, installation and commissioning, testing and earthing was difficult task. Getting almost 230 nos. of earthings in 3 days time, Vipul bhai’s team worked overnight and Prajesh did fantastic job to complete daunting task. Diesel management for these many dgs were tough to handle where Mr. Vikrant did tremendous job to made fuel available with proactive approach.
- 6. At site to co-ordinate with other agencies were hard time where I got good support from Mr. Mohsin particularly and VELCA team arrived for Help. Things were about to get completed and a night before worst dream came true…

- 19. It was impossible task as all electricity items were in water and electricity and water is like enemy. We got great support from VELCA, GETCO, MGVCL, Electrical Inspectors and different contractors team arrived for immediate help. We made it possible to inaugurate exhibition on time with some risk.
- 20. Some risk of continuation of supply in that situation, disturbed exhibitor AC and their lights on first day. On ground all connection was verified for RCCB and MCB protection which is very important for human and installation safety checked by Mohsin. We have faced some angry exhibitors for ac and lighting and tried to provide things as extended support.
- 21. Bold decision taken from Mr. Hasit Trivedi & Mr. Chirag Shah who ordered 3,000 mtr cables and MCBs which got replaced over night. During whole event our team was continuously engaged to run show and to provide best service as a extended hand. After completion to get remaining diesel was a big task which I and Mohsin completed by working round the clock for 3 days.

We faced some issues due to moisture in dgs which we managed such a way that it did not affect exhibition which includes: › AVR failure of AC dgs of hall no. 8 & 9 › Fuel solenoid valve failure in AC of dgs of hall no. 8 & 9 › Belt breaking of lighting dg of hall no. 3 › Circuit breaker closing coil failure of air conditioning of hall no. 1 › Hunting of DG of air conditioning in hall no. 8,9, 10 & 11
