dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its

The River Jordan is our identification with Christ in
His death, burial and resurrection.
Romans 6:3-4
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were

raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.

The River Jordan is where:
 John the Baptist baptize the people
 the Lord Jesus Himself was baptized
Luke 3:21-22

Father-God.
