E-Newspapers – Front Page • An online newspaper is the online version of a newspaper, either as a stand-alone publication or as the online version of a printed periodical. • Going online created more opportunities for newspapers, such as competing with broadcast journalism in presenting breaking news in a more timely manner. The credibility and strong brand recognition of well-established newspapers, and the close relationships they have with advertisers, are also seen by many in the newspaper industry as strengthening their chances of survival. The movement away from the printing process can also help decrease costs.
- 3. E-Magazines – Cover • An online magazine is a magazine published on the Internet, through bulletin broad systems and other forms of public computer networks. One of the first magazines to convert from a print magazine format to being online only was the Computer Magazine. • Some online magazines distributed through the World Wide Web call themselves webzines. An e-zine is a more specialized term appropriately used for small magazines and newsletters distributed by any electronic method, for example, by electronic mail. • Similarly, some online magazines may refer to themselves as "electronic magazines" or "e-magazines" to reflect their readership demographics or to capture alternative terms and spellings in online searches.
- 4. CD Covers/Thumbnails • An album cover is the front of the packaging of a commercially released audio recording product, or album. The term can refer to either the printed cardboard covers typically used to package sets of 10 in (25 cm) and 12 in (30 cm) 78-rpm records, single and sets of 12 in (30 cm) LPs, sets of 45 rpm records (either in several connected sleeves or a box), or the front- facing panel of a CD package, and, increasingly, the primary image accompanying a digital downloads of the album, or of its individual tracks. • In the case of all types of tangible records, it also serves as part of the protective sleeve.

Beyond the familiar distinction between hardcovers and paperbacks, there are further alternatives and additions, such as dust jackets, ring-binding, and older forms such as the nineteenth-century "paper-boards" and the traditional types of hand- binding. This article is concerned with modern mechanically produced covers.

Interactive Media – Websites • Interactive media normally refers to products and services on digital computer-based systems which respond to the user’s actions by presenting content such as text, moving image, animation, video, audio, and video games. • Interactive media is a method of communication in which the output from the media comes from the input of the users. Interactive media works with the user's participation. The media still has the same purpose but the user's input adds interaction and brings interesting features to the system for better enjoyment. • The sharp fall in hardware costs and the unprecedented rise in the computer speed and memory transformed the personal computer into an affordable machine capable of combining audio and color video in advanced ways.
