Task 2a secondary research
In the last general election of 2010 44% of 18-24 year olds voted.
You can register to vote at 16, 54% of 19-24 year olds bother.
Many young people don’t vote because of the lies the government tell but because they don’t vote
they can’t change the way democracy work and they don’t have a choice in the matter and they
have to go along with it. The choice of what happens in England and who becomes governor goes to
all the people who vote and those who don’t have to g with what has been chosen for them.
