Candidate name: Theme: Architectural Exploration of Salford Quays Predicted final outcome I am going to take 50 photographs minimum of Salford Quays in a landscape format, the photos will show off the architecture, lifestyle and the companies/ businesses in the area such as BBC/ Imperial War museum/ Lowry, to attract people to the area. I may also take photos around Manchester doing the same. I will then choose 10 photos that I feel are the best and bring them forward for further editing on software such as Photoshop or just submit them without touching up if I feel the natural photograph looks better. Reasons for selection of theme (including inspiration from the work of others) When taking my photos I will take into consideration other landscape photographers work and try and use techniques they used. Photographers such as Charlie Waite and Steve Mayes for example. Who both take striking images of architecture and natural landscapes. I will try to incorporate the techniques they used in the actual photo and the post production. Such as using depth of field to make the subject stand out and In post-production using black and white to convey a different message through the image.
