Task 8 Superbad
- 1. The opening shot of the film shows a character who is blended into the background of the shot. This character being the first person in the opening scene and being central in the shot suggest that he is the main character of the film and he will have significant importance throughout the film
- 2. With a change in colour of the background the character in the shot has also changed. However this character only has a white outline but the same colour as the background, this suggests that the character tries to blend in with the crowd but the white outline makes him stand out from everyone else. Having four images of the same character suggests that he is trying to fit in by having multiples of himself so people will notice him.
- 3. This shot shows the two character from the previous two shots together. The idea of them being the same colour and different colour to the background show the characters have something in common and are different to everyone else but are happy with each others friendship.
- 4. With the two characters having a mirror reflexion of what they are doing suggests the narrative will show that the two characters will find someone like them and will be able to make friends with them. The colour of the character is still different to the colour of the background which suggests that they will be different than other people throughout the duration of the narrative.
