Students are tasked with creating a diorama of an ecosystem using a shoebox, including various plants and animals. They must then present to the class about the ecosystem, discussing what an ecosystem is, the climate and needs of included species, descriptions of some animals and plants as well as their food sources, interactions between species, and the food chain. Students are also responsible for taking notes on their classmates' ecosystem presentations to later write a report.

- 1. TASK ONE. ECOSYSTEM DIORAMA. You are going to find an ecosystem, you are going to make a diorama using a shoebox and you are going to talk to the class about it. You have to choose a variety of animals and plants and you have to talk about it. Use as many materials as you like and have into account that there should be a variery of species in order to talk about them These are the things you are going to talk about to the class: • What is an ecosystem? • Climate and needs of plants and animals in your ecosystem. • Some animals, description and food. • Some plants, description and food. • Interactions. • Food chain. You have to take notes when your partners talk about their ecosystems, because you have to make a report about each of the different ecosystems.
