Positive Framing Fill in this Sheet as Nate and Eric describe the elements of Positive Framing.  You will use your sheet to analyze a video momentarily (get ready, get ready, get ready)
Watch Video Watch the following video of Ms. Austin teaching a math lesson. Test yourself: how many elements of Positive Framing can you identify during the clip?
Review with a partner Turn and share what you identified with a partner.
Analyze transcript With your partner take a look at the transcript from this clip.  Underline all the examples you can identify.  Did you find any new ones?
Re-writing Key Statements Now you.  Discuss these common classroom comments and re-write them with a positive frame (5 minutes).  We will ask a few groups to share their revised statements.
