- 2. Mendaki Club, or MClub, is a community of Malay/Muslim young professionals and students who are engaged in affairs concerning the community, Singapore and the world. We engage in strategic youth development initiatives and participate actively in discussions on current developments in the local and global arena. - #4: A schematic diagram entails the relationship between the vision and mission and the identified strategic thrusts of MC. The key enablers for outreach are identified to possibly reach out to the people of MC target. The concern is not to reach out to many people but rather to meet the needs of a specific core group. The potential key enablers are thru” : The Club Website - to include monthly essays, weekly updates and possibly an e-newsletter Exco personal contacts - we could institute a practice whereby each Exco member would "Bring a Friend" to different sessions/ activities Emails to the membership database Yearbook Media Releases The first strategic thrust is to harness the energies amongst the youths. To mobilise youths to act as role models and positive agents of change in civil society. Also, to provide developmental programmes for youth to realise their potentials. The second strategic thrust is to engage and inspire the youths to take a keen interest in and contribute to key community issues. The third strategic thrust is to provide a platform to make singapore malay/muslim community better understand by the others. And to provide an avenue where youths will understand issues beyond the Malay/Muslim community through interaction with other singaporeans and the rest of the world.
