What is an e-Portfolio?
           It’s a personal online space for
           students to collect, select and
           reflect on their academic, extra-
COLLECT
           curricular and professional
           experiences.

           In other words, it’s their
SELECT
           “academic passport,” providing
           educators and potential
           employers a glimpse at a
           student’s educational and
           professional journey through
           higher education and beyond!
REFLECT
How It’s Done
Through multimedia and file
storage, students can display
papers, presentations, resumes,
videos, blogs and more.


Students are able to showcase
their academic and professional
work and projects, honors and
achievements, travel experiences
and more!

How Linda is Using ePortfolio
• Course: ENG 201—Writing in the Disciplines
• Level: Undergraduate
• Students develop their ePortfolio throughout the semester:
 Create a personal vision statement in sentence and
  WORDLE form
 Write reflective blogs about their drafts and essays
 Upload papers and projects with descriptions
 Upload updated resume (Career Services Workshop)
 Include co-curricular, extracurricular activities and creative
  work
 Share their ePortfolios with peers and get feedback
What is a Wordle?
A wordle, also known as a “word collage” is a
 creative way for students to express their:

•   Skills
•   Personality
•   Interests
•   Personal Mission/Vision Statement
•   And even resume!

Pace student leaders have used wordles to
express their personal mission statements.

“My mission is to improve my leadership skills while helping others at the same
time. I hope that my work at the Center for Community & Research in
combination with an undergraduate degree in marketing at Pace
University, and upon graduation, going to Graduate School and earning an MPA

mission in life is to create my own Non-Profit organization.”

  the semester:

  course materials
• Give/Receive peer feedback
• Present their eportfolios to
  classmates
• Reflect on the eportfolio process +
  peer comments
