Technology is the practical application of knowledge (science) and skills (techniques) to create solutions (technological objects or systems) which satisfy our needs or solve our problems. What is technological process? The technological process is the work method used by technology and consists of the ordered sequence of steps that must be followed in order to meet a need or solve a problem. How you are going to do it. When you are going to do it. How long it is going to take. Example of a process sheet: Drawing of the piece (with measurements) Number of identical pieces Materials and tools needed Construction procedures Person responsible Estimated time 20 Materials: Board 20 cm x 25 cm Tools: Ruler, set squares, protactor Saw Round file Sandpaper Measure Mark Cut 2 File 10 Sand Glue The report: is the set of documents that describe the technological process you followed. Therefore, the report has two basic goals: to explain the method you used and show the solution you obtained.
