Technology in mobile
What is Technology
Technology is a body of knowledge devoted to
creating tools, Processing action and the
extracting of material the term ‘Technology” is
wide , and everyone has their way of
understanding its meaning. We use
technology to accomplish various tasks in our
daily lives, in brief; we can describe technology
as products and processes used to simplify our
daily lives. We use technology to extend our
abilities, making people the most crucial part
of any technological system
We apply technology in almost everything we do in our
daily lives; we use technology at work, we use technology
for communication, transportation, learning,
manufacturing, securing data, scaling businesses and so
much more. Technology is human knowledge which
involves tools, materials, and systems. The application of
technology typically results in products. If technology is
well applied, it benefits humans, but the opposite is true, if
used for malicious reasons.
Many businesses are using technology to stay competitive,
they create new products and services using technology, and
they also use technology to deliver those products and
services to their customers on time and within budget. A
good example is mobile phones companies
like Apple & Samsung, these mobile empires, use high-end
technology to create new smart phones and other electronic
devices to stay competitive. This competitive edge is gained
through employing advanced technology.
Mobile technology
Mobile technology is the technology used for
cellular communication. Mobile code division
multiple access (CDMA) technology has evolved
rapidly over the past few years. Since the start of
this millennium, a standard mobile device has
gone from being no more than a simple two-way
pager to being a mobile phone, GPS navigation
device, an embedded web browser and instant
messaging client and a handheld game console.
Many experts believe that the future of computer
technology rests in mobile computing with
wireless networking.
Types and example of technology
We use technology to accomplish various tasks, so
technology comes in different forms. Below I have listed
some of the different types of technology we use on a daily
basis and in each kind of technology I have included an
example of that particular technology.
Communication Technology
This is a system that uses technical means to transmit
information or data from one place to another or from one
person to another. Communication is a daily essential for
all; it is used to convey ideas, exchange information, and
express emotions. Humans use communication technology
tools like phones, computers, emails, fax or messaging tools
to stay in touch with friends and family.

HISTORY
In 1940s Motorola developed a backpacked
two-way radio, the Walkie-Talkie and a
large hand-held two-way radio for the US
military. The same technology developed
further and produced the mobile phone that
we know today.
MOBILE PHONE
The most Friendly
technology in The 21st
Century
The First Mobile
The First Mobile
The first mobile phones, referred to as First
Generation or 1G, were introduced to the
public market in 1983 by the Motorola
Company. These first mobile phones used
analog technology which was much less
reliable than the digital technology we use
today.
IN 1990 FIRST CELL PHONE
During the 1990s, great improvements
were made in the mobile phone technology.
These phones used Second Generation, or 2G
technology. In 1990, the first cell phone call
was made using the new digital technology
that became characteristic of this era.
Third Generation
The Third Generation
technology, or 3G, is what
many people currently use in
their digital cellular phones
today. This technology was
created very soon after the
excitement that the 2G
technology created. This new
technology is not only capable
of transferring voice data (such
as a phone call), but it is also
able to transfer other types of
data, including emails,
information and instant
messages
Mobile manufactures & brands
There are several mobile phone manufactures
across the globe and each manufacturing
company has its own brands depending on the
marketing and technological demands.
Examples of manufacturing firms and their
brands are:
Motorola
Nokia
Apple, Samsung, Sony Ericson
How mobile phones work
Mobile phone can make and receive telephone
calls over a radio link whilst moving around a
wide geographic area. It does so by connecting
to a cellular network provided by a mobile
phone operator, allowing access to the public
telephone network.
Uses Of Mobile Phone
Mobile phones have already started
functioning as more than just communications
devices. Mobiles serve as watches and alarm
clocks. Even with the limited free games that
come with basic phones, they are already good
for "time-pass". They can also function as
calculators and . . .
Digital camera:
Point-and-click!
Phones capture
pictures and let us
save them for
posterity or transfer
them to others and
to computers
Audio recorder:
Mobile phones can be
used to record
conversations or even
brief notes to one
self.
Web client:
Phones can also
browse websites,
via a WAP and/or
HTML browser.
Most web sites may
not look great on
the small screen,
but it is still
possible to connect
to any web site.
Multimedia messaging:
Everything recorded can
be shared with others by
using MMS.
Conclusion
Every good thing when abused can be
harmful, so is mobile phone. Consider when to
use it, how to use it and what to use it for and
just make sure you benefit fully from the
mobile phone you are having because it is the
next biggest technological device ever to hit
the globe.
THANK YOU
