Content creation
I have created content, digital and print, for
many audiences. My clients are as varied as
BAE Systems, MMU, British Red Cross,
Cornerhouse, 24:7 Theatre Festival and St
Anne’s Church, as well as major professional
services organisations such as Grant
Thornton, Aviva, Pannone, Mills&Reeve,
Dickinson Dees and Boekel de Nerée.
My advice covers everything from text to
video to advice on tweets for some clients. I
believe content marketing is crucial to these
clients and I am a constant advocate of
joined up, strategic thinking in this area.
Delivering quality content
in a pressurised environment
I worked with a team of 15 designers to
create adverts, brochures, invitations,
websites, events, presentations and videos.
Most of this is done to a very tight deadline
for demanding clients.
Over the years I have been involved in
numerous major marketing campaigns, bids,
events, rebrands and internal
communication initiatives. I provide
creativity, copy and strategy throughout
these projects, from the big idea to the small
print on adverts.

Developing major global brands
I am comfortable when dealing with big
clients and quickly develop an understanding
of how they think and the challenges they
face. I act as a sounding board, idea
generator and day-to-day facilitator for
these clients, taking feedback and ensuring
the service meets their needs. From logo to
launch, I have enormous experience on all
aspects of developing a brand including
brand guidelines, creating launch materials
and selling the brand to an internal
audience.
One example of a longstanding relationship I
have developed is with law firm Eversheds.
Since 1996 I have worked with its leadership
to develop a leading global brand (and top
legal Superbrand in 2011) from a collection
of small regional offices. This included
assisting with the overall firm strategy,
writing proposals, creating selling. My work
led to Epigram being named Supplier of the
Year at the 2007 Legal Marketing Awards

You will find me to be a driven individual
who has succeeded through outstanding
work and a commercial sense that allows me
to go beyond the role of creative.
I played a major role in turning a two year
old agency into a significant regional player
with international clients. Over the course of
sixteen years I have picked up valuable
experience, including managing people,
clients and projects, winning new business,
and assisting in the running of the business.
Digital understanding
I have written numerous SEO-friendly
websites for award winning sites (eg for
clients such as Mills & Reeve and Bond
Dickinson). I also regularly create digital
content, including films, white papers and
tweets, and have occasionally freelanced for
digital agencies such as Code ComputerLove.
Managing people
As a director I need to ensure that our team
of designers delivers what the client needs.
In addition to inspiring and motivating them,
I also have to deal with issues surrounding
IT, personal problems and any difficulties
they might have with clients.
