- 2. What is the TEXAS STaR CHART? An online resource tool for self-assessment of your campus’ and district’s efforts to effectively integrate technology across the curriculum. The tool is designed for technology planning, budgeting for resources, and evaluation of progress in technology projects. The chart is divided into four categories: Teaching & Learning Educator Preparation & Development Leadership, Administration & Instructional Support Infrastructure for Technology

- 4. STaR CHART ANALYSIS Very substantial improvement in the three year period. INF5 improved from Early Technology to Target Technology . 2008-09: Trg Tech 2007-08: Adv. Tech 2006-07: Adv. Tech 2008-09: 21 2007-08: 17 2006-07: 15 Infrastructure for Technology L1 & L2 saw no change and remained in the developing technology phase during the three year period. 2008-09: Adv. - 9. SUMMARY The Texas STaR Chart was primarily designed to help campuses and districts determine their progress towards meeting the goals of the Long Range Plan for Technology. This chart also provides measurement for improvement for student learning through the use of technology.
