The approach to the subject
- 1. -Citizenship- THE APPROACH TO THE SUBJECT METODOLOGY Group work. Inter-active groups. Social gatherings. Research groups. Debates. Role play. RESOURCES Observation, practice, research and debates of all the information that we can find in nowadays media: newspapers, magazines, internet, television, articles… GROUP DISTRUBUTION Role distribution The choice of the topic they need to work on. The abilities we are going to work on: debates, to reach agreements, to vote, responsibilities. THE ASSIGMENTS Each group will choose a topic, for the assignment, from the list that all students have made. The abilities we are going to work on: the share of responsibilities (roles inside the group), the finding of information, written work, the use of different IT resources, to reach agreements, to present a topic in front of the class.
- 2. DEBATES Main topics of interest nowadays. The approach: two groups different point of view of the issue on the debate. The abilities we are going to work on: o To express your opinion. o To respect others opinion. o To take turns to express yourself. o The use of logical argumentation to support ideas or points of view o Self reflection.
