The beginning of my Double
Page Spread.
This is my DPS so far, however I might make few changes.
Inserting the images:
1. This is the first thing I did. I placed one image on the left page and one on the right
page. I did this by using the process of importing the images as I did for my contents
and front cover.
This button let me
drew a box where
an image could be
imported.
You right click
inside the box and
click import then
resize the image to
the size you want.
The title.
Below are the options and styles of my heading…
I made sure to use big text and bright colours to make it stand out.
The font I used. The spacing between the
letters is -10 as I
compressed the letters
closer together. The ‘Wain’ is in italics
The size I used.
The
colour, for
‘Naomi’ I
used red
and for
‘Wain’ I
used
black..
The quote.
For my DPS I used a quote and I created this by inserting a text a box with a quote in
from the article, then placing it on the right hand side of my DPS.
Below are the options I chose for size, font and boldness.
The font I
used.
The size is
30.
These buttons highlighted
meant that my text was bold
and in italics.
The
colour:
black.
I made sure I
aligned it to the
right because it
was on the right
hand side of the
page.
These options here were for the
speech marks, as you can see I
increased the size to 72pt.
The article.
I inserted a text box and then chose all the options below.
1. The font
I used.
2. The size.
3. The colour.
4. I made some
of the text bold by
highlighting this
option.
The border: I then inserted a border like I had for my front cover and
contents. I did this by using the same tool as in my previous
explanations.
Conclusion: this is my double page spread so far and after properly
looking over it I will more than likely change some aspects to it.
