- 4. The Heart pumps blood throughout the body. Veins carry deoxygenated blood. Arteries carry oxygenated blood to organs. Aorta is a part of the heart that directs blood to the right blood vessels. Textbook
- 5. Blood helps your body maintain a steady temperature of about 37 degrees Celsius. When your body temperature increases, the blood vessels near the surface of your skin expands to increase blood flow to keep warm. Textbook
- 6. Aortic Aneurysms are abnormal shape changes of the aorta leading to the weakening of the walls and it could fall apart and you people with them might die. Leukemia/Bone Marrow cancer is when the blood formation in bones slow down a lot. Heart Attacks are when there is a blood clot in the heart and there is no flow.

Depending where it is, it can have a limb amputated if not treated quickly.
