The study investigates the recognition and recall of self-selected system-generated nouns versus self-generated mixture word passwords, revealing no significant difference in memorability rates for noun recognition (75.72%) and recall (74.23%), while mixture words showed higher memorability rates in recognition (95.23%) and recall (84.14%). The research highlights the impact of word types and structures on password memorability, aiming to better understand user behaviors in password creation. Participants were evaluated over short-term and long-term memory assessments, confirming that mixture words yield better memorability outcomes.
