This research project focused on understanding the sharedness of team mental models (TMMs) among a female soccer team in Switzerland, as prior studies indicated that shared TMMs positively influence team performance. Utilizing a combination of small-sided games, online questionnaires, and individual interviews, the study found that the TMM among players was low, highlighting the importance of coordinated mental frameworks in achieving successful teamwork. The findings suggest potential implications for coaching strategies, emphasizing the need for further research to generalize these results to other teams and divisions.
