1. Simple Fool
A simple fool, or peti, was a person who made
mistakes but quickly righted them and was
restored to fellowship with God and with others.
King David was a simple fool, one who made
mistakes, but kept a repentant heart toward God.
This is why God did not turn away from David for
his many sins.

2. Hardened Fool - Prov. 1:31-32
The hardened fool, kesil and ewil, made mistakes, but
never learned from them and failed to listen to others.
Such people can expect God's reproof to continue and will
eat the fruit of their own way. The hardened fool "returns
to his own vomit." King Saul was a hardened fool, one who
made mistakes and continued in them even after realizing
he was wrong.

3. Mocking Fool
The third level of fool mentioned in Proverbs is the
mocking fool or letz. The mocking fool mocks the things
of God. This word means "scoffer" or "scorner."
When you encounter cynical people who disregard the
things of God, you know these people are "mocking
fools."

4. God-denying Fool
The fourth level of fool is the God-denying fool or
nabal. This term relates to the morally wicked
person who ignores the disgrace he brings on his
family and who despises holiness.
This person says, "There is no God." By failing to
acknowledge God for who He is, the nabal declares
himself to be a "God-denying" fool. (see Prov.
17:21).

Our dreams must often

A grain of wheat has a "vision" of
reproducing itself and many more grains of
wheat (birth). The grain dies in the ground
(death). A harvest springs up out of the very
process of "death" in the ground
(fulfillment).
Death and Resurrection of Visions

Joseph

Later he was falsely condemned to
spend his years in prison (death).
God allowed Joseph to interpret the
dreams of the butler and baker and
later the king, whereupon, he was
made a ruler in the land (fulfillment).

Moses
Moses had a vision of leading his
people out of the bondage of Egypt
(birth). Pharaoh as well as his own
people drove Moses out of Egypt
after Moses' first attempt to relieve
their bondage (death). God gave
Moses signs and wonders to
convince Pharaoh to free the people
and bring them out of Egypt and into
the Promised Land (fulfillment).
Disciples
The disciples had a vision of
establishing the Kingdom of God
with Jesus (birth). The very ones He
came to save killed Jesus, and the
disciples saw Him buried in a tomb
(death). God raised Jesus from the
dead, and the disciples performed
great miracles until the gospel had
spread through all the world
(fulfillment).
