The Learner's Edge provides continuing education for teachers that allows them to learn flexibly based on their needs and preferences. They believe teachers should have freedom in how they learn and pride themselves on giving practical information that can be applied immediately in the classroom. Their courses are developed by former teachers and aim to make a difference in education.

- 2. For many of us, teaching felt right from a very young age.
- 3. We went to college to be teachers and learned the proper methods and techniques.
- 4. Armed with passion and knowledge we entered a classroom of our own.
- 5. In the classroom, we never let our brains bully our guts.
- 6. To help us be better teachers, we had to be students ourselves.
- 7. But something about other continuing education courses didn’t feel right.
- 8. At Learner’s Edge, we set out to change that.
- 9. We believe in giving teachers the freedom to learn where, when, and how they want.
- 10. We pride ourselves on providing hands-on information that teachers can use in the classroom right away.
- 11. We have stacks of books on our desks. Most provide sound information—but only a few resonate with us on a gut level.
- 12. Only a few earn the Learner’s Edge Stamp of Approval.
- 13. Just like you, we want to make a difference in education.
