The Name Game – An
Alphabet Legacy
Chapter 7 – The House of the Rising Lag

Well first thing’s first- Centowski is my
generation C heir. He won the poll with Chen
coming in second.
Now on to the title: as of the end of this
chapter, the game is lagging. Also, Last
Name’s character file seems to have been
deleted, so he is blank in the family tree. I
blame Yusun.

Here’s Centowski’s spouse for the
generation: Lisa Rauscher. College townie
family sim extraordinaire.

Of course I move them out on their own so I
can focus on playing them.

They graduate college with low marks
because I just wanted to get them through as
quick as possible to have…
Lisa: Baaaabbbbbiiiiieeesss….

Lisa is an Aquarius (4/4/4/7/6). Family sim
who wants to be Captain Hero. She likes
charismatic and creative sims who don’t
wear swimwear.

Time for generation D to begin.

I get Lisa her dream job in law enforcement
despite the fact that this family does not
need anymore money. I feel uncomfortable
having so many simoleons in the bank and
not really having anything to use them on.

I also, accidentally, get Centowski a job in
natural science instead of his preferred
paranormal. Want to know how long it takes
for me to figure out my mistake? Stay tuned
:P

First baby bump of generation D.

Blum and Payton are still around as adults.
They haven’t aged up yet, and that makes me
sad.
Blum: Do you think he wants us dead?
Payton: Probably. I think this generation is
going to be huge.

DOBREV NAME! She is a Sagittarius
(2/7/8/8/4). Her name is Bulgarian for son of
Dobri.

Payton opens up a second store to try and
complete his lifetime want. This one will be a
toy shop.

I get Burns a job here and it starts off slow. I
got it up to level 5.

But then I had to go back because this is an
alphabet legacy and I need to focus on
making my heir and spouse have more kids.

Payton focuses on making toys for his
business so it doesn’t reflect in the budget.

Where‘s the glow?
Blum: I didn’t give her Toddler Milk.
Do you not want superpowered kids?

I got a cowplant! So cute 
So dangerous…

Hey Araya! Don’t kill my heir.
Araya: Don’t worry, I’m not Yusun.

Baby number 2 is DEAN NAME! Sagittarius
(6/4/9/8/4). His name is derived from the
Middle English word for valley.

And baby number 3 is DE WITTE NAME. He
is a Capricorn (9/10/1/8/7). His name is
Dutch for “the white.” Cause he’s white…

After having the twins, Lisa rolled the want to
have 10 kids so I figured I may as well go
after that. Here’s her drinking some elixir of
life to stay young.

And here’s her getting ready for baby 4.

Gotta keep the cow entertained so I don’t
accidentally kill the family.

This was the point where I realized that I had
Centowski on the wrong career path. Yup. It
took until the middle of the fourth kid’s
pregnancy.

Baby number 4 is DRAGO NAME! Sagittarius
(6/4/8/8/4). Drago is Italian for Dragon.

Headmaster: You‘re not, Araya.
Blum: Well screw you too, buddy.

Gave Dean a makeover while the headmaster
was here. Had to time the entire thing so
that I could get most of the kids into private
school.

Lisa: De Witte, we need you to not narrate
our sex life.
DW: But it’s fun.
Centowski: Not for us.

Lisa reaches the top of her career! Now she
can quit and focus on what’s really
important: her impossible want.

Also, some townie died and Lisa is gonna
drink him for youth.

Oh, and another townie is dying as we speak.

Centowski reaches the point in the
paranormal career where he gets the career
reward.

Centowski: It’s ugly.
You wanted this life, jerk.

Family reunion… and Dobrev being rude to
her great aunt.
Dobrev: SHE SHOULD BE DEAD!

Teenage Dobrev. She rolled family and wants
to be captain hero like her mom. She likes
custom and gray hair, but not blondes.

I then sent her off to college to live with
some townie kid who I aged up with her
named Keith Fairchild. He’s a pleasure sim
who wants to be a party guest. I can’t
remember anything else about him, but if
she wins the heir poll this will be her spouse.

Blum: You’re new.
Headmaster 2: The last guy said he didn’t
want to come back.

So Drago got into the private school.
This may have been the point that Last
Name’s file became corrupted because it’s
the last time I saw his ghost before I moved
him.

Payton opens his third business: a graveyard.

Soon I realize I need to give people a reason
to be here.

It soon just becomes a hot tub hangout.

And the second business of Payton reaches
level 10.

Teenage Dean rolls knowledge and wants to
max out 7 skills. He likes brown and black
hair, but not full face makeup.

Teenage De Witte rolls romance and wants to
be a party guest. He likes cologne and the
cleaning skill, but not the mechanical skill.

It’s another boy! This is DU NAME. Leo
(6/9/3/4/4). Du is Chinese for “stop,” which I
don’t plan to do.

Centowski reaches the top of his career so he
can quit now (seriously… we have too much
money).

This bump was brought to you by the twins
moving out (I forgot to mention that earlier
but I don’t edit because the point of me
publishing this is to show that I am in the
works of COMPLETING the legacy.. Not to tell
a story).

Toddler Du with the same hair as his uncle he
hasn’t met.

Time for teenage Drago to get out of here.
He rolled fortune and wants 6 pets to max
out their careers. He like stink and cooking
but not unemployed sims.

Payton trying to pass on his skills to the next
generation before he dies.

It didn’t work, so he’s passing them to
Centowski.
Lisa: I want 10 kids, not level 10 businesses.

Baby 6 is DUFFY NAME! Leo (6/9/4/7/5).
Duffy is Irish for “descendant of Dubhthach.”
I didn’t know how to pronounce that, so I
just went with what was easier on
behindthename.

Oh, and baby 7 is here, too. This is DUKE
NAME. Taurus (4/9/8/10/4). It is and English
occupational surname for anyone who had
the title of Duke or worked in the household
of one.

I send Payton and Blum to the toy shop one
last time to get it up a few levels. Maybe a
future generation will be able to achieve the
want.

Back at home, I forget to pay a few bills…
oops.

Baby number 8 is DVORAK NAME. Be careful
what you wish for because I now have 7 boys
in this generation in total after having so
many girls in generation B. Dvorak is a
Sagittarius (6/4/8/8/4) and is a Czech
occupational name for someone who owns a
manor.

The deaths of Blum and Payton mean two
more spaces are open in the household for
the last two kids of generation D.

I completely forgot which dessert was which
so she had a piece of both.

So clearly a headmaster is over….

Hopefully the final pregnancy…

He was so disgusted by the family that they
didn’t get Du, Duffy, and Duke into private
school.
Headmaster 3: You have a gun on the table!
Oh psh… it’s a scanner.

Centowski reaches elderhood. Maybe I
should have given him some elixir, too.

Baby 9 is DYER NAME! She (finally another
girl) is a Libra (1/9/4/7/8). Her name is
English for “one who dyes.” Another
occupational name.

And here is baby 10. A second girl named
DZIEDZIC NAME. She’s a Taurus (4/9/5/8/5).
Her name is Polish for landowner.

Didn’t want him to look too crazy.

Teenage Du. He rolls knowledge. Don’t
know his LTW yet, but he likes stink and
glasses but not the cleaning skill.

Toddler Dziedzic.
The heir poll won’t be out yet because I
haven’t played far enough for everyone to be
in college. To make things easy on me, each
of them will be in their own household.
Twins will be paired because they will count
as one heir this generation. I want to mix
things up a bit.
