A royal sorcerer bestowed an amulet upon Hatchupset and their descendants, endowing them with the powers of animals and elements. They would soar like falcons, run with gazelle speed, and command the sky and earth. Thousands of years later, a young science teacher dug up this lost treasure and discovered she was the heir to these powers of Isis. She became both Andrea Thomas, a teacher, and ISIS, a defender of the weak and champion of truth and justice.
