This document outlines an action research project by Jeff Costa that investigates the impact of using Voki, a web 2.0 technology, as an exit ticket on student content mastery in a high school U.S. history class. The findings suggest that the use of Voki did not lead to an increase in content mastery as measured by summative assessments, although student engagement was noted. Recommendations for future research include examining multiple intelligences, larger sample sizes, and prolonged use of Voki.
