FSU Panama City is welcoming its inaugural freshman class in fall 2013. This allows the campus to offer lower-level general education courses in addition to its existing upper-level programs. Barbara Robinson was hired as the first Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies to oversee the development of undergraduate academic programs and support for freshman and sophomore students. The freshman class of around 50 students will study majors ranging from engineering to business administration. This expansion marks a transition to a six-year institution where students can complete bachelor's degrees entirely at FSU Panama City.
