WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THE PROJECT
Frequency of new contents help attract visitors.
Easy navigation allows visitors to click other pages on the site.
Our umbrella idea enabled us to create a wide range of content.
Identifying audience is important in designing a website.
What we could have done better, more of, less of . . .
We could have posted much more content and much more frequently.
We could have done more on promotional outbound linking:
● Study aid books linking to Amazon
● Promotional deals available on Kaplan
We should have contacted each of the CUNY Newspapers or Student Government
body to create a section where we would aggregate their school wide events (Guest
Speakers, Gala Events, Club Events) and in return, they would post our website onto
their platforms - social media and website.
