Completed conversion and rewriteof aProvidersystem programmed in alanguagecalled MUMPSinto COBOL. Oraclewas used with SQL as theprimary languageto query thedatabase. This projectintroduced Javato thecorporation and successfully merged half abillion Provider recordsfrom 6 external organizations and streamlined it into onerecord representingthecombined dataof all organizations.
