- 8. So, what’s the value of all this?In this day and age, faster is better. Twitter gets news updates as well as personal updates out on the web in seconds. Anyone can do it! It’s news directly from the news-makers themselves. There’s no red tape of deadlines, editors, or demographics. It gives everyone a forum to write about what’s happening in their life or the world around them.

Is it successful?Twitter brings together all different kinds of people under one URL.Whether you’re a business, a celebrity, a sports team, or just your average Joe, this website connects you with millions of people at the click of a mouse. I believe that it hasn’t reached its full potential yet. Twitter is still relatively new, and it has lots of improvements and additions to make. But, at the end of the day, it purely and simply works. It’s going to be around for quite some time.
