This course is for people who want to learn
more about the fascinating world of branding
and typography and learn about best practices
of using type in various areas of design; for
those who want to meet in person legendary
creative directors, who are responsible for great
masterpieces. This programme will help you
become better at what you do and find new ways
to develop your career.
Programme includes lectures, workshops, visits
to exhibitions, self-study work and professional
discussions. You will also have various unique
opportunities to get a behind the scenes look at
the most influential agencies in London.

globally? Can a non-british designer become
a british typographer? Where can we find
examples of British typography and branding
and how can we use them?
All of these questions and many others will be
answered during our programme.

Every day you will discover typography and branding
through different lenses:
Every Day consists of:
Boosting breakfast
During the boosting break-
fasts you will interact with
other participants, share
your ideas, experiences
and expectation for the
day and meet local pro-
fessionals to get to know
more about the backstage
of the creative industry.
Morning session
It is the first session of the
day, it will take the form
of a lecture or a hands-on
workshop.
Practical exercise
A short task to follow up
the morning session and
make everyone unlock
their brain’s full potential
Afternoon session
The second session of the
day, where you will have a
chance to visit another top
London agency and listen
to their team revealing se-
crets they use in everyday
work.
Debrief and the city
Discuss the content of
the day with other partic-
ipants to better organize
it in your mind. It will take
place straight after the
afternoon session in loca-
tions that we can then visit
as cultural and social ac-
tivities such as museums,
galleries, event spaces or
bars.
Educational programme lasts 5 days, Monday to Friday.
Saturday, Sunday – free time, with an optional cultural programme.

The walks cover sights of interest to the typographic
historian as well as examples of beautiful letters found
on the streets of the City of London which range from
Roman inscriptions through to contemporary marks
left by both the expert and amateur lettering artists.
