BSN 2-B students from the University of Cebu College of Nursing conducted a community outreach program in Barangay Langub, Guadalupe City, Cebu. The students identified the community's biggest problem as improper garbage disposal. They offered solutions like separating waste and establishing a sanitary landfill. The students provided health services to residents like taking vital signs, urine testing, wound care, health education and games for children. The students thanked their coordinator, community for hosting, and driver for the outreach program.

- 2. At last, we the BSN 2-B students had made it! It has turned out to be a very challenging event for all of us, yet we enjoyed a lot . contents Barangay Langub, Guadalupe, Cebu City Problems in the barangay Possible solution to the problem Services offered
- 3. Brgy. Langub Guadalupe, Cebu City Barangay Langub is a very silent place. Seldom we can see people staying outside of their house. As we visited their houses, some of them cooperated and accepted us in their house. Some houses are made up of light materials and built near to each other. There’s enough water supply but garbage disposal is their very big problem
- 4. Problems in the Barangay They have a very big problem in garbage disposal. One said that they just throw their garbage in the river because when rain comes it will just go with the flow of the water.
- 5. Possible Solution to the Problem SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT: Is a way of collecting, transferring, and disposing garbage. The ff. are diff. ways of disposing garbage: Separating biodegradable and non-biodegradable. Sanitary Landfill Recycling Source Reduction
