- 3. • After being delayed many times, the NTA UGC NET Exam for Phase 1 has been finally conducted from 20th November to 05th December 2021 through online mode (CBT). • Due to cyclone “Jawad”, the phase 1 exam for some subjects has been reschedule from 24th December to 30th December 2021. The Phase 2 NET Exam will be conducted from 24th December to 30th December 2021. • The Test consisted of 2 papers. • Both papers had objective-type questions. • Both the papers (Paper-I & II) were conducted in a single 3 hours duration (without any break). • The questions in Hindi & English except for other language subjects. • It was necessary to carry the admit card along with two photographs • Each question carried 2 marks. • There was no negative marking for wrong/unanswered questions. • All the questions were compulsory. • Due to COVID-19, face masks, social distancing were compulsory for all the aspirants. Also, hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle was allowed in the exam hall. • Candidates were allowed to leave the examination hall/room only after the test was over. Major Highlights of the UGC NET 2021 Paper 1 Analysis Here are some of the major highlights of the NTA NET 2021 Exam: As per the students' review, the overall difficulty of the UGC NET General Paper 1 was Moderate. Almost 55% of the questions were based on theory, while 45% were Numerical type. Some questions were pretty time-consuming and created a cognitive load on the student's brain to understand every term. As per the candidates’ review, most of the questions were asked from: - • Logical Reasoning • Mathematical Reasoning • Research Aptitude • Teaching Aptitude Students found some topics easy like Reading Comprehension, Mathematical Reasoning, Coding & Decoding, ICT, Ratio & Percentage, etc. Some question was based on University Grant Commission Act.
