What is  Personalisation? Personalisation is about placing people at the centre of the support they get   Personalisation is about people using resources in new ways so support fits into their life rather than their life being shaped by the support available Personalisation focuses far more on what the person finds valuable and meaningful in life

Individual/Personal Budgets People and carers  still need to be eligible under Fairer Access to Care to get social care support from their local council and so funding for their budget.  Click picture for document 1
Individual/Personal Budgets The person (or their representative) is informed about a clear upfront allocation of funding  (the Resource Allocation System or RAS),  enabling them to plan their support arrangements Click picture for further information 2
