•CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSAL N°001/2019/ERM-SMF
•PROJECT PROPOSAL GUIDELINES
•UNDP programme “Confidence Building Early Response Mechanism in
the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon”
•Small Grants Facility to support local NGOs in their early recovery efforts
and to promote social cohesion. This facility is being piloted through
this call for proposals of grants up to 20 000 USD per project (plus
10% administration fee)
•target is to support4-6 initiatives in the North West and4-6 initiatives in
the South West. The pilot period is 1 June to 31 December 2019.
THE CALL
•call for proposals is only open to registered national Cameroonian
NGOs who are already established and having ongoing activities in
the North West and/or the South West.
•Submission deadline 21 days after the launch of the project call for
proposals.
•proposals are community recovery initiatives in the NW and SW aiming to
restore infrastructure, restore livelihoods or other essential functions in the
two provinces affected by crisis.
•Promotion of social cohesion must be an integral part of project
objectives. Projects with an integrated aim to contribute to a better
environment (waste management, recycling) and promotion of female
participation in recovery will be prioritized in the selection of projects
process.

Instructions
Fill the project summary form
Write all sections of the project (from 1 to 12) following
the outline below. The whole proposal should not
exceed 15 pages of text (including any charts or
diagrams)
Additional attachments (not more than 10 pages) may
be submitted, including documents certifying the status
of the organization, endorsements of the proposed
project, funding commitments or other indicators of
participation and support from other institutions, and
evidence of community support and participation
Fill tables B1, B2 and B3. You can use additional sheets
for tables if those provided are not sufficient

than two (02) weeks after the date of publication to the

THE CALL
Information about the Small Grants Facility and eligibility
criteria:
Grant application files will include:
1. A complete administrative file of the NGO
o Proof of location including name and full address with phone, email,
etc ...;
o Legal status and copy of the registration receipt
o Activity report for the last two years
o thelast 3 years income statement and the 2019 forecast budget
o Bank Statement of Account (RIB)
2. A detailed technical file of the project, (project document)
specifying the proposed intervention zone(s)
3. A detailed financial file (budget)
o Projects including administrative burdens such as salaries will not
be considered
THE CALL
Selection criteria:
NGO / association specializing in one or more of the above-
mentioned areas, with evidence of similar experiences (minimum 5
years)
Good knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years) of the project's
intervention zones
The participation of NGOs / local associations is encouraged
Work experience with vulnerable populations is also an asset
Proposals for activities supporting an existing project or completing
a structure in place will be considered as priorities during the
selection.
The files will be reviewed according to the relevance of the projects
to the project's key intervention areas and their innovation.
