Seamus McSporran had 14 jobs at the same time on the small Scottish island of Gigha, where he lived most of his life. He worked as the island's police officer, shopkeeper at the only store, post office worker, chef and laundry worker at the small hotel. As there was no doctor or dentist on the island, Seamus also served as the ambulance driver, transporting the ill and serving as both a school bus and taxi driver. Seamus worked 15 hours a day, 7 days a week for 35 years before retiring at age 62 to live a quiet and calm life with his wife in Scotland.
